******UPDATE 7/21/21 *******
We at Spotlight Ballroom and Midtown Stomp are announcing that starting this Friday night, July 23rd, our social dances are going to change to be for vaccinated dancers only. This is for both our Friday night and Saturday night Social Dances. We will continue to watch and evaluate the situation closely over the next month.
Masks will continue to be optional for everyone and we encourage you to do what you find most comfortable. Rotating in classes is always up to you.
Are vaccines required?
Starting July 23rd proof of vaccination will be needed to attend our Friday or Saturday night socials. We will accept any form of proof of vaccination including a photo or screenshot of your vaccine card or online vaccine record found here https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov/.
Are masks required?
Masks will continue to be optional for everyone and we encourage you to do what you find most comfortable. If you are more comfortable wearing a mask we support you 100%.
Do I have to rotate in class?
Before the pandemic, we had a policy that you don’t have to rotate in class if you don’t want to. That policy continues. Rotate ONLY if you want to.
Do I need to bring a partner to the social dances?
No. Social distancing is not required after June 15th. Feel free to dance with anyone you want. Please be mindful of other people’s different comfort levels about mask wearing when approaching your next dance partner. For some of us, its been a while since we have been around other people so close. 🙂
