The Alpha Rhythm Kings

The Alpha Rhythm Kings, featuring some of the best musicians in the USA, play vintage swing, lounge, and jump blues. Formed in 2017, The Alpha Rhythm Kings have created quite a stir with music fans, having crafted an exciting California sound, with what Roots Music Magazine No Depression calls “the badge of authenticity”.

The band’s top quality musicians, with Robert Dehlinger’s blazing trumpet and “magnetic” singing (Jazz Corner) leading the way, are a favorite with swing dancers, as well as with audiences in nightclubs, festivals and concert halls. Come take a listen, or get up and dance!

Midtown Stomp is Sacramento’s premier swing dancing venue, and one of the largest swing dances on the West Coast. Each Friday night hundreds of people of all ages and walks of life join us for an evening of music and dancing that you have to see to believe. Located at Spotlight Ballroom in West Sacramento, you’ll find an inviting atmosphere that will have you ready to kick up your heels and dance the night away.
