Saturday evenings
First and third Saturdays generally begin with lessons at 6:15 pm, followed by dancing from 7 to 9 pm. Beginning and intermediate/advanced lessons are offered.
Sunday evenings
The fourth, sometimes fifth, Sunday generally has lessons at 5:15 pm and dancing from 6 to 8 pm. See the individual event for the date and featured lessons.
Admission and the lesson
Regular ballroom socials are $12, including the lesson, and are included in studio memberships. Before each social, the beginning class introduces two dances while an intermediate/advanced class covers more involved figures. No partner is required, and rotating is optional.
On the dance floor
The DJ suggests a dance style for each song and welcomes song requests. Anyone can ask anyone to dance, and either person can decline. Give other dancers room. When dancing a stationary style during a traveling dance, move toward the center.
