Salsa is Fun and Spicy
Here at Spotlight, our Salsa classes are high energy, great for getting in shape and meeting new friends. We have classes in Salsa for both beginners and more advanced dancers. In our classes, you will learn all of the best and latest footwork, patterns, styling, and musicality that is out there. Our dance instructors are well known in the Sacramento salsa dance scene and bring that fun atmosphere into their classes.
The fun doesn’t stop in the classroom, as Spotlight offers monthly parties where you can practice your new dance moves. Come by once a month for a Salsa/Bachata social dance hosted by Capital Latin Dance. This is an all-ages dance party, where we bring guests instructors from all over California and Nevada. This party starts with a free lesson and social dancing until 1 AM. At these parties, you will experience the Greater Sacramento area Salsa and Bachata communities, as they join Spotlight in dancing Bachata, Salsa, Kizomba, Merengue, and Cumbia. Also regularly featured at our Capital Latin Dances are performances by surrounding area dancers, dance teams, as well as dance contests. See our calendar for schedule.
