We’ve been bringing Sacramento together for swing dancing since 2005. Come for the lesson, stay for the dancing and the community.
Beginner swing dance lessons for adults, every Friday at 8 pm. We teach beginning 6-count swing from the start, so you can join on any Friday. The class is included with dance admission; social dancing begins at 9 pm.
Do I need a partner?
No partner is needed for the Friday beginner lesson. We rotate partners, so you can meet people as you learn. If you come with someone and prefer to stay together, that is fine too.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes you can move in. For your first visit, focus on being comfortable. Ask us if you have a specific footwear question.
What if I want to learn more?
Our Lindy Hop series classes build from week to week. Lindy Hop 1 is for dancers who know basic 6-count swing or have taken the beginning drop-in class. You can also explore workshops or private lessons.
