What we collect
We collect only the information you give us: your name, email address and phone number when you send a question or request; membership details when you ask to cancel; a wedding date or lesson interests when you ask about lessons; and what you tell us in a message. Safety reports may be sent without any contact details. Your Mindbody account, card details and purchases are handled by Mindbody in its own secure forms; this website never sees your Mindbody password or card number. This website also uses Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) pixel, described under Analytics and advertising below.
How we use it
We use your information to answer your question, arrange a lesson, process a membership request, respond to a safety concern and run the studio. Questions and requests are saved in Annie, our staff tool, and a copy is emailed to the studio inbox. If you choose the AI option in Ask Us, an AI assistant prepares an answer from approved studio facts and staff can review the conversation. We send marketing email only if you ask for it, and you can stop it at any time. We do not send marketing text messages.
Who can see it
Approved studio staff see questions and requests in Annie. Customer accounts live in Mindbody and are mirrored to HubSpot, our customer-relationship tool, where we track customer interactions. Safety reports are reviewed by the safety team. Service providers that help us run the site process information on our behalf: our website host, our email service, our text-messaging provider, Mindbody for accounts and payments, HubSpot for customer records, and the AI provider for Ask Us and text-message answers when the AI assistant is used. We do not sell, rent or trade the personal information you give us, and we do not share it with other businesses for their marketing. The limited visit information that Google and Meta receive is described under Analytics and advertising below.
Text messages
We use text messages to answer questions you send us about classes, events, lessons and memberships, and to schedule lessons you ask about. You agree to receive these texts when you text the studio number first, when you choose “Text message” as your reply method in Ask Us and then confirm by texting a one-time code from your phone, or when you enter your phone number on a free introductory lesson request and check “Text me to schedule” beside the notice. That last choice covers only scheduling your lesson and answering your question. Agreeing to texts is not required to buy anything. How many texts you get depends on the length of your conversation, and message and data rates may apply. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages. Texts you send to the studio number may be answered by our AI assistant, and approved staff can review the conversation. Text STOP at any time to opt out (STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT all work), START to resume, or HELP for help. You can also call 916-649-3269 or email info@midtownstomp.com. We keep a record of your opt-out so we do not text you again. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile phone number and your text-message opt-in data and consent will not be sold or shared with any third party, other than the service providers that deliver our texts, prepare our replies and keep our records, such as our text-messaging provider and the mobile carriers, and only so they can provide those services.
Analytics and advertising
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this website, and the Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure and improve our ads. Both use cookies or similar technology on your device, and both receive information such as the pages you view, the links you click, and your device and browser details. We also let them know when a request form is sent, when you click through to Mindbody to buy, and when you tap a phone or email link. We do not send them your name, email address, phone number or messages. Google and Meta handle that information under their own privacy policies. To opt out, you have several choices. This website honors Global Privacy Control: if your browser or an extension sends that signal, neither tool is loaded. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or change your ad settings in Meta’s ad preferences. Email info@midtownstomp.com or call 916-649-3269 if you would like help.
Your choices and retention
Email info@midtownstomp.com or call 916-649-3269 to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop marketing messages. Ask Us keeps a conversation available in your browser for seven days; we keep saved questions and requests as long as we need them to help you and for our records. Mindbody keeps its own account and purchase records under its policy.
Security
We use reasonable physical, electronic and procedural safeguards, including encrypted connections and staff sign-in for Annie. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
